I have a husband and a child. My child is almost deaf and I am handicapped as well with moderate to profound hearing loss, we are both without hearing aids at this time, unable to afford them. My fiancee is a disabled veteran awaiting claim benefits since 2015. I have been claiming my fiancee as a dependent on my tax return for the last two years. My income is the only thing supporting us 3 and I work at a grocery store as a GM Clerk. my pay is topped out at $15 an hour. We recently moved from a different District where I was a food Clerk on the highest pay scale topping out at $20 an hour. I do not see a promotion in my future as long as my department head stays in his position. I worked with him at another store when he began harassing me. When my produce manager died, he transferred to my store and has been harassing me since day 1, for the past five months. I can't afford to have food in the trailer most of the time. My income is just barely over the limit for food stamps, so that's not an option. I do not own a house I do not own any stocks. I have a bank account, and a car that's worth $1, 000, if that. My fiancee does not have a car or assets. What are my options?
Try to negotiate and possibly work out a payment plan.
