If you want parenting time with your child, the best thing to do is to make an appointment with a lawyer and file a child custody/parenting time matter. You don't say that you and she were married, so we must presume the two of you were not married.
Although both mother and father have equal rights to time with their children in Kansas, the only way those rights are defined and enforced is by obtaining a court order stating the nature of those rights, and the specific schedule for parenting time that both parents possess.
Children are entitled to have a connection with both parents. But it's up to both parents to respect the other parent's rights and, if conflict exists, to seek court assistance to resolve those conflicts.
You should immediately contact a knowledgeable family lawyer with whom you can review your particular situation. That family lawyer should be able to advise you what to do and how to best establish and enforce your parental rights.
