I own an office unit that is a separate LLC to my business LLC. My business pays rent to the office LLC. Can I take money out for my own personal use from the office unit LLC account? The funds are just sitting in the account. This LLC has no employees. It is just rental income. Or do I need to consider it a 'shareholder distribution'?
If you own the LLC, then yes. Consult with an attorney just to make sure and review your Operating Agreement.
