There is a good listing in the Avvo lawyer directory. It is even broken down by area. There are a few TX tax attorneys that post on here, but I think they are both out of Houston.
You should definately hire a Tax Attorney to help you determine the best route, whether it be installment agreement, bankruptcy planning, currently not collectible, abatement, offer in compromise, etc.

Another alternative is to discuss your situation with a CPA. A CPA can represent you at the IRS. If your issue is too complex for them, they will quickly let you know and most likely already work with a good tax attorney.
Congrats on taking a great first step toward peace of mind. Best wishes!
This response does not create an attorney client relationship nor should the advice be relied upon because it is not specific to your legal situation. Before you depend on legal advice, you should retain competent counsel.
