I am having a hard time completing my community service with an extension . I payed my fine off but just haven’t finished my community service. Within the last month I’ve been to the emergency room. The date of my last court date where I got the extension, I was barely recovering from going to the emergency room, I got diagnosed with a skin condition and I couldn’t go out in the sun for long periods of time till i recovered more. I took a doctors note to court for my extension too. My community service is going to Cal trans so you can see why it was a problem for me. I tried to change the location of my community service, but they told me no. Within the last month I’ve been slowly recovering and trying to go to cal trans and work. It just has been very hard since I still feel weak and not fully recovered from the emergency room and everything that happened . My hair is still falling out and my adhd is going crazy. I am just in a huge emotional and physical distress because l didn’t finish my community service and I could have if it wasn’t for my health . What will happen?
The lawyers who answers on Avvo aren't fortune tellers and can't predict the future. To get a good outcome, you need a lawyer who can gather all of your information and present it to the judge in the best possible light, and request that you complete the community service in a setting that doesn't involve exposure to the sun.
