My brother in law is not legal. He had a dwi 4 years ago. He declare himself not guilty. A second court date was set and he fail to appear. Now. 4 years after. He was stopped. Taken in and now he has a hold as well. What are our options.please help.

Assuming he has and ICE hold then he will need an immigration attorney and a DWI attorney. Depending on the circumstances he may be able to get an immigration bond. He will need an attorney for both. Call around and find one you are comfortable with and can afford.

I highly recommend that you hire an experienced DWI Attorney. Once his criminal case has been resolved then hire an immigration lawyer. or hire them to work in tandem . But as stated by other attorneys his first priority needs to be hiring an experienced DWI attorney. DWIs are technical cases with great areas of error. There are ways to beat them.
