I want to add my wife to my account .when I do that does it make it a joint account.
If you are referencing a checking/savings account.... the designation on the account as "husband and wife, as joint account holders", then that would effectuate creation of a joint account, meaning both of you have joint/several rights to the monies in said account. Be sure to consult with the branch manager when establishing said account, to assure that your intended goal is achieved in direct accordance with your desires. Good luck.
