I was a single mother with 5 children and I was a witness to a drug murder and people came back for retaliation agianst me and my baby's I called CPS to ask for help to move they refused and hung up the phone on me so I called back with a false name and made up false factors and they showed up I signed a release to put my children in foster homes until I got a place income not on l&i anymore and have a safe home for my children agian it's been almost a year with everything there putting me through I'm just worried will they take the baby if I'm pregnant or will I loose my children I have.....
Yes. The same factors that caused them to be concerned as to the safety of your other children will also apply to the safety of a new born.
So - to the extent that you have complied with your prior commitments and have not had any new threats or problems - you may be able [with the assistance of an excellent attorney] to argue that the past difficulties are too remote in time to be considered current evidence of risk.
I hope this helps.

Ouch. This is a pickle. You need to get your life back on track. I've seen CPS act harshly and remove a child and also I've seen them not catch on and miss such as a situation. what you want/need to do is to be a model person. No drugs. In School working towards a great job, employed, house clean, car clean, friends who are sober and without criminal records, cutting ties with people with criminal records. I can't advise you further. You need to talk with someone who works with CPS alot. Maybe they could interveen in advance, but I'm not sure that is advisable. Where will you have your baby? If you are concerned, I suggest a home birth outside a hospital setting. This will make it harder for CPS to locate you and remove the child. I don't know about going back and correcting your story. Will that help? You need a CPS law specialist.
