It's been 4 months in US consulate in Dubai and the consulate office is completely silent except for a two liner email saying my case is under Administrative Process! How long shall I wait? Where can I follow up? The Consulate Office doesn't respond to any email nor entertain any phone calls! Where else can I follow up for this delay by the U.S. consulate?
You might be allowed to use your B1/B2 to enter as long as the border officer believes you will not be "employed" here. It depends on how long you've had the B, how many trips have you made and what you have done with it. I would hire an attorney to make inquiry with the Consulate.
This is a general answer only and does not imply that I am your attorney giving advice with full knowledge of all the particulars of your case or that there is any attorney client relationship. I strongly urge you to retain experienced legal counsel who can better advise you once they have reviewed all your documentation and are fully apprised of the details of your case. I would recommend consulting with an immigration lawyer. The answer to this question will likely depend on the reason why your case is in administrative processing. While administrative processing is a normal part of the process, in some cases it can mean that there is a problem with case. A lawyer can help you figure out if there is anything to worry about or if this is just part of the normal process.
