I recently read somewhere that EADs are going to be approved faster now. Earlier, I think it used to take somewhere around 3 months (depending on the case), just wondering if it would be done even quicker now.
If all ( EB-1 adjustment) that you and your employer plan to file with USCIS is in proper order and expertly prepared, then expect USCIS to issue the EAD in 60 to 90 days.
Properly filed EADs are currently taking about 2-3 months in order to be granted.

Wishful thinking.. Even after an Obama speech to that effect (none on the horizon) processing and issuance of EADs will still take 60-70 days from date of receipt. Officially USCIS still has 90 days.
