Hi, im on probation for a misdemeanor domestic violence case. I need to travel to mexico asap cause of my religion (august 2nd) Im planning to do it by land & come back in plane and my friend told me to ask my PO to let me sign a waiver of extradition and i should be good to go. You think thats possible or not? And if i leave without permission would they catch me? Thank you!
Your question is criminal. I happened to practice criminal defense for the immigrant.
You may be able to get permission to travel from your probation officer. However, if you are not a US citizen the conviction may cause you to be inadmissible upon your return. I strongly suggest you see an experienced mmigration attorney regarding your status BEFORE you leave the USA.
Sorry, this is not an immigration question.
