Is there a chance you could face jail time?
Without an attorney, absolutely.

Yes, for this offense an arrest can be made. You can go to jail as a punishment for this. Get counsel.
R. Jason de Groot, Esq. We do not have an attorney-client relationship. I am not your lawyer. The statements I make do not constitute legal advice. Any statements made by me are based upon the limited facts you have presented, and under the premise that you will consult with a local attorney. This is not an attempt to solicit business. Your chances......................are much better with a lawyer. Call your local bar ass'n for a referral
This is an informational. There is nothing like real advice from a lawyer--this isn't. Food for thought. We give our time and our feedback is appreciated. Be sure to mark the "Best Answer" or "Helpful." Thank you.
1st: you are a danger to yourself and everyone on the road 2nd Attend a driver improvement school ASAP 3rd hire the best damn attorney you can find 4th pray that this guy can keep you out of jail because you're the poster boy for exactly who the Judge wants to send to jail ! The Judge certainly does not want to find his name in the newspaper for letting you off easy ! You've got a high hill to climb so you better get on it ! Good Luck !
