I am pregnant and I decided to worked as long as I was physically able to. My Visa expires within a month and I'm 8 months pregnant I'm not allowed to go back home as it is not safe to travel on an airline. Is there a way I can extent my Visa for a month in order to have my baby and return home after?
You can file a change of status to B-2 ... include medical evidence, proof that you're paying for the entire hospital expense, proposted travel plans (copy of out-bound ticket) and a good cover letter.
The most important thing is to prove that you won't be taking any government assistance for the hospital/medical.
