I’m 7 months pregnant and honestly think I should be able to move out now. My parents lost their house. We are living at my moms mothers. There are six people living there now. I’m sleeping on the floor on an air mattress that I can barely get off of. I have a few places I could go and live, but my parents won’t let me. My mom told me to not come home when I was voicing my concerns. Four of the 6 people are smokers and two of them smoke in the house. I’m concerned about my health and my baby’s health. How do I move out? How can I do it without my parents stopping me.
I'm really sorry to hear about your circumstance. I'm sure it's difficult and very stressful. I can't advise you on the questions about moving out. I would instead recommend contacting a local Pregnancy Center, like River Region Pregnancy Center. They can be a resource to you no matter what your living arrangements are.
