i thought the federal tenant protection act gives me 90 days due to my landlord being foreclosed on? Is this not true?
If you are a bona fide tenant who has been paying rent under a rental agreement, and not been subject to an eviction prior to the FC sale, it certainly should (then again many folks don't know about that law). What's more, if you are a TENANT, the WOP should have been posted on the door by the sheriff, not delivered by mail (although it may be coming soon, who knows) so this might be the WOP from the FC. There's just no way to know without reviewing it. Consult a good local tenants lawyer.
Hope this helps.
