I admitted to the investigating police officers to shooting windows of a business w/a B.B. gun, breaking 3 windows. I hired a criminal defense attorney, paying $2500
Upfront. I met my attorney face to face for the first time at the court house for the first court appearance. I called him on cell phone to let him know I was at the court house, and he told me he was parking and would be right in. A man who was sitting with a group of attorney’s stood up and turned towards me, realizing he was just caught lying to me. He walked up to me and without pause said”you must be Ryan, come on let’s go”. He didn’t greet me, introduce himself, shake my hand, nothing but walk to the court room. My first red flag. He missed the second court date, but he did not contact me to let me know. I found out through my bail bond company. The new court date was not given to me by my attorney. Once again I found out the court date through my bail bond company! I don’t have the money to get a different attorney. I need some advise and/or resources to help my representation please.
Try calling your attorney instead of texting him. Some phones do not accept texts your attorney may not know that you are trying to reach him that way.
Contact the office and schedule an appointment to review the discovery in your case.
