I have criminal court trial coming up and i am pregnant on doctors orders bed rest. Can I get my attorny to move court?
I am 7 weeks pregnant in a high risk twin pregnancy. I have trial for criminal court im the defendant.im on dr prescribed bed rest. Can my attorny have my trial moved,if he shows proof, or will i get a warrant for not showing up?
1. It is troubling that you are posting here and not calling or emailing your attorney. You need to contact them ASAP. If you don't feel comfortable talking with them for whatever reason, you should be respectful but very very candid and let them know that you feel that way and explain why. You can tell them you just now realized that this is an issue that could profoundly impact the final outcome of your case and you want to fix it -- you can even show them this exchange. Try your best to work things out. Good communication with your attorney is key to your success in criminal court.
