I was denied a change in jurisdiction for child custody to the fathers state which is over 2000 miles away. I can not meet the court dates nor do I qualify for fee waivers. What can I do?
Yes you may file an appeal so long as you are within the deadlines. Does not mean you will succeed. You need to go have a consultation with an attorney who will review the denial.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
