Im suppose to report and go to jail as ordered by court if i dont is there a statue of limitation or will i always be considered wanted for arrest
Absolutely not! You have been sentenced, there is no statute of limitations in your situation. If you don't report, a new warrant for your arrest will be issued, you will face more jail time and I would guess that the judge probably gave you an extensive jail sentence and then suspended it on the condition that you turn yourself on the specified date and by the specified time. If you do have a suspended sentence and you fail to show up, you will automatically be subject to the harsher penalty. No hearing, no argument, you do not pass go, you do not collect $200! Not turning yourself in is the worst thing you can do at this point. It will not go well for you.
Apparently, you have already pled to the charge and you were sentenced to some to some kind of jail time? The statute of limitations applies to how long the state has to file the case. The case was already filed. If you don't report, Denton will issue a warrant that will remain active until you are arrested. There is no time frame when the warrant will die away. Denton has the resources to come look for you. Man up and report. You agreed to it in court.
My response is to a question or questions that were set out in probably several sentences. Criminal law is complex and applying it to fact situations is also complex. My response is a general application of the knowledge I have to, at best, a skechy set of facts. You may, inadvertently, be omitting a very important fact or issue that affects a proper legal analysis. Ultimately, my advice is to contact a lawyer in person and talk to her or him about your issues.
Did you have an attorney representing you on the criminal case? Consult with him or her before you decide to not turn yourself in. Goid luck!!
