I have a limited (work) lic while on the Mn ign interlock progarm. I received a speeding citaion for 65mph in a 55 zone. Will this cause me any problems with my limited lic? I can't find an answer to this on Mn dvs.dps website.
A speeding ticket, especially a 65 in a 55, won't have an effect on your license. Any speed of 10mph or under won't even certify to your traffic record
I cannot think of any way this would impact your limited license. I know of no statute or rule saying you would be revoked for an 10 mph speeding ticket. I don't think the agreement you signed when you went on interlock would say anything different.
Of course, you should take care of this ticket; either pay it or challenge it by the appropriate route. Tickets only get worse when ignored.
FYI, in addition to their website, DPS has very helpful license evaluators who can answer questions. They are at: (651) 296-2025.
