Separate from my son dad when he was 5 and he helped me here and there but never steady help. I tried putting him on child support when my son was 9 years old but he stop working so he wouldn’t pay. I dropped the claimed a few months later because they stated I would only get $13 dollars.
I have changed the practice area to child support.
Wishing you the best.

Your son is entitled to support until he reaches 18 and is no longer a full time high school student. It isn’t too late, but you can’t go back any further than the date you file a Request For Order requesting a modification of support. You can open a case with DCSS online.
