We had a verbal agreement about rent and responsibilities. She paid rent but is not holding up to contributing on food and other things and is always having company I don't approve of. She is not on the lease. I gave her 30 days. Does she have to leave? If she doesnt will I have to file an eviction?
There seem to be three problems 1) There's nothing in writing; 2) food and other things are not generally included in lease agreements; and 3) you're not the landlord. Perhaps you should talk to the landlord, because I don't believe you can utilize the eviction process. Call a few attorneys to see if you have other options.
