While he was doing a delivery ,a 12 years old child with a bicycle jumped onto the car(the independent contractor) and got some injuries.
He was taken to the hospital and he is fine now. What is my liability if the boy's family tries to seek compensation.
The police report and other 3 witnesses condemned the boy in fault and the car was the independent contractor car
Not sure what you mean by "condemned" but obviously your not buying it either which is why you are asking here. That stated, MOST independent contractor agreements, not drafted and implemented by legal counsel, are simply fraudulent both as to IRS taxes and liability when they are "out to the test." If you have a delivery person you need to make sure that person and your business is properly insured as there a dozen ways to look back and hold your business responsible.

The short answer here, is yes. Your business could be the subject of a lawsuit. However, as there seems to be some contribution in terms of fault, this case is not the best one you could have from a Plaintiff's perspective. Nevertheless, speaking from a Plaintiff perspective, I would take their case. You may wish to consult with counsel in order to be sure.
