Basically landlord took me to court for false accusations and won for $5,200 and then put a levy on my vehicle. How do I get the levy lifted if I pay him? Do you recommend me speaking to the court officer first? I am in New Jersey and I've never heard of this but I do not want to lose my vehicle I am disabled and that is why he's going after my vehicle because it is the only thing he can touch! I am disabled and I think this is unfair but please if you can answer my question and you give me the best advice I would appreciate it I don't want them to come and Tow my car without me knowing they only gave me 10 days two hand in the title and it was sent to the wrong address and I found out almost 10 days after the notice was sent there and it wasn't sent certified!
Make it as part of the settlement arrangement that the levee be lifted by the person that put it on. Make it a condition to paying any of the money
