Is the guy trying to blackmail you? Be very careful. You have not left enough information but if he gets busted or turns your phone into the police you could have a problem if there truly is some incriminating evidence. Hopefully he is just trying to scare you and it won't amount to anything.
Please be advised that answering your questions does not establish an attorney-client relationship with myself or my firm. We would be more than happy to set up a free consultation if you call us at 407-228-3838 and specifically mention AVVO or email me at email@example.com and put AVVO in the subject line.
You should be careful about posting admissions on a public forum. Mr. Umanski was correct. Good Luck.
Although AVVO answers provide a starting point, nothing replaces the opinion of a qualified DUI defense attorney knowledgable about the Judges and prosecutors near you. You should consult a local lawyer for legal advice. Www.orlandocriminalteam.com Www.orlandoduiteam.com Www.orlandoduilawfirm.com Www.flduilawfirm.com Www.orlandodivorceteam.com
Hopefully nothing will come of it, but photo/video evidence of illegal activity could definitely be used against you. I guess the real question is, what does he plan to do with it?
This is a tough one to answer. Please be careful of this individual and not trust him. You are probably ok since something would have happened by now. You did make the right decision to go "clean." I see so many people whose lives are screwed up because of chemical dependencies leading to personal and legal issues. I am happy for you. Good luck with the rest of your life!!!!
Do not discuss this with him! He may already be working as a snitch for the police to try to get out of trouble he is in. Talk to a lawyer.
If any answer on AVVO helps you, mine or someone else’s, please mark it as "helpful" or "best answer" to help AVVO know which answers to show others.

I am an experienced Wisconsin drunk driving (DUI/OWI/DWI) defense lawyer practicing in Madison (Dane County) Wisconsin. The laws in each jurisdiction can be very different. I cannot give legal advice over the Internet nor can I establish an attorney client relationship with you.
If something I say disagrees with what your own lawyer is telling you, you should rely on your lawyer who is familiar with you, your entire case, the local courts and practices.
To deal with a legal problem, nothing is better than to consult with a lawyer who will give you some time and advice. If you cannot afford an attorney, there should be agencies in your area that can provide discounted, or even free, legal services.
