I told the Bank I took the money, paid all back, and was placed on 5 years probation by the Judge. Can this be expunged from my record? My record is clean since that stupid incident 27 years ago. One of the Owners / Stockholders of the Bank offered me a job 30 days after all hearings were over. I was a Controller of his Construction Company for the next 12 years. i have worked as an Accountant in the Construction Industry ever since.
Possibly. I’d have to look at the actual record online to know for sure. It will depend on what statute you were charged with. I recommend contacting an experienced expungement lawyer in KY to review the record. Most will provide a free evaluation and charge nothing if the case can’t be expunged.
I agree with Mr. Clark, but as a part of the process, you would have to obtain a certificate from the state which would state your case is eligible for expungement, and the cost for that is $40.00. You can request that online, and if it's not expungeable, then you're out the $40.00.
