I made a false report but ended up telling the truth the same day I filled a police report for a check deposited to my account . I told them the truth came clean but the officer still gave me a desk appearance ticket first time I did this what are my chances of getting a probation or an ACD i won't have to go to jail right?? Please help I need answers also I don’t have money to get a lawyer or attorney
In order to get probation you would have to plead guilty to a crime, which is not a good idea. More facts are needed, much an ACD may be possible. Hire a good criminal defense lawyer.

We do not know what the prosecutor's evidence is or what's in their mind. While it may not be a very serious charge, all criminal cases should be treated carefully. That is why you should get an attorney or at least speak with one.

Depending on the circumstances and your criminal history everything you are asking about is a possibility (jail, probation, ACD), it all depends on the facts, whether you've ever been arrested before or convicted of anything, and what the position of the DA is. You should retain the services of a local criminal defense attorney to ensure your rights are protected.
