Spent $2000.00 on a rifle that does not work. Manufacturer TNW Firearms, after already working on it several times, will not replace it because he says I bought it from a dealer that he had problems with. Says to get money back from them. I have notes of every phone conversation for the last 7 months. Now he is trying to screw me over because he is mad at the dealer. Don't know what to do or who to talk to. HELP
Then you may need to sue under the warranty if they won't honor it.
What, precisely, is the defect? Also, did the weapon come with any instructions on what the warranty covers and your potential remedies? And where is the manufacturer out of?
This is VERY general information that is not intended to be construed as a legal opinion or legal advice. No attorney client relationship has been formed. This is based on the limited information presented to me, and should not be relied upon. Anyone seeking a legal answer to this question should consult an attorney and describe the situation more completely.
If the warranty is issued by the manufacturer, tell them it's in their name, you expect them to honor it.
If they don't, file a complaint with the consumer division of your attorney general's office, and gthe Federal Trade commission if it was shipped to you.
