How do i get their passports for costa rica? ICE has already contacted him to deport him after court on wednesday. How can i go about getting their passports so we can go there to see him?
If the children are American citizens (i.e.born in the US) a U.S. assport office will issue them. Look at the State Department website and it'll tell you what you need and where you can get them. If they are here illegally, as well as you, well then it's an immigration question. pass to that area.
I agree with my colleague. If you can't afford an immigration attorney, many law schools and charitable organizations offer free legal aid, and some focus on immigration issues. I wish you and your children the best.
Peace be with you, and may love guide you.
I agree with my colleagues, you forgot to tell us if the children (and/or you) were born in the US.
You can get your husband to sign the passport applications before he is deported ... or, a legal clinic can assist you. Here is a link to a list: https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/nonprofit/legaldirectory/
