I was told by the police not to come back to my ex's apartment parking lot. He came to pick me up. He drove back to the apartments but parked on the opposite side of the street while waiting for a cab for me. The can came down the street. I then tried to take my daughter with me he took her away the punched me. As I was walking to the car he said you will never see her again. I walked backed to his car stood by the window asked him what he meant when he put the car in reverse and the drivers side mirror hit my back and broke he for out the car as if to hit me. I got in the cab to go home. I found out I had been charged with remaining after being forbidden and destruction of property. If the cab driver is a witness that I wasnt in the parking lot nor did I break the mirror will happen to me
Lots to consider here...
I would hire a lawyer immediately. There is no one here that can tell you with any degree of certainty what will happen to you.
I would suggest that you get that cab driver's name and address, because you will likely need him/her in the future.
Call a lawyer.
