i had sex with one man. later that week i found out they have had herpes for a couple years and know it. & i beluive they purposefully tried to give it to me. i think i may have it. can i sue him?
I agree with the other attorney - you would probably need to prove that you in fact have contracted herpes in order to have a claim worth sufficient value to have an attorney pursue it for you. Hopefully, any tests will come back negative and you won't have to worry about this any longer. Good luck.
Can you sue, the answer is yes. Should you sue is another matter. The cases have complex and sensitive causation issues. This will include discovery of other relationships and sexual habits.
