Your statement strains credulity. There would have been at least one pre-trial conference; further, you would have been present during the voir dire of the jury pool.
You also placed this under "Criminal Defense." IF you were charged, you would have been arraigned and, if deemed indigent, an attorney would have been appointed for you. If not, you are responsible for retaining your own counsel. You would not be allowed to proceed pro se without signing a release to that effect.
