CAN I HAVE THIS ENTRY EXPUNGED FROM MY DRIVING RECORD?
No, traffic accidents are not eligible for expungements.
When someone pulls your driving record, there will be a statement on there that the listing of an accident should not be used as evidence that it was your fault. Specifically it says "ACCIDENTS NOTED ON THIS DOCUMENT SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED DETERMINATIVE OF FAULT OR NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE INDIVIDUAL".
Most driving records are pulled for either 3 or 7 years, so over time the accidents tend to not be listed anyway (you can always pull a full copy of your own driving history whenever you like).
Interesting. Check with a local attorney. Search for one here on AVVO by using the Find a Lawyer tab at the top of this page.
This response is only a basic answer to your question and is not intended to be legal advise. It is your job to hire an attorney and to discuss the specifics of this question with him or her. I am not giving you specific legal advise and there is no attorney-client relationship created by my answer to your question. The choice of an attorney is an important decision that you must make and that choice should not be made upon adverting alone.
Please read Mr Doucette's response to your question. Why would you feel the need to have this expunged (which won't happen) rom your record? Is it preventing you from finding a job.requiring a commercial license,
