of getting a positive etg test?
Four beers on July 4th won't show upon any test today. But in your last question you said you had been drinking Friday night too. That also should be gone. But now the question is what happened last night?
I would think that it's impossible for you to test positive for alcohol at this point. Keep in mind that if this is in regards to a probation urinalysis or questioning, admission of drinking alone could be enough to be found in violation pending a revocation hearing, regardless of any testing.
I agree that the four beers on July 4th should not show up. Also an admission can be a violation, such as what you posted here in a public forum....

If you are on probation, do you think someone will have called your probation officer? If you have your freedom on the line and still cannot stop drinking your have SERIOUS alcohol problem. You should seek counseling start attending AA (and never quit), and do whatever it takes to turn this addiction around. Alcoholics live miserable lives, often short live. Save yourself now.
Sounds unlikely there will be a postive test, but if your probation officer has already heard you have been drinking - and you lie - will you be in even more trouble.
We do not have a client/attorney relationship until you make an appointment, we discuss your case face to face, I accept a retainer, and we explictly agree to enter into representation.
Yes, stop drinking and/or stop admitting to presumably violating the terms of your probation on public forums such as Avvo.
