I got a ticket for going 95 in a 60 along with a misdemeanor of reckless driving. This is my 2nd ticket, my past ticket was for not wearing a seatbelt and it was over a year ago. What should I do and what kind of fines/punishments am I facing? I am in North Carolina.
You should hire a criminal defense attorney in the county that charged you. This sort of ticket will lead to a suspension of your privilege to drive. However, and experienced attorney might be able to have it modified in a way that will not result in the loss of your license. The seat belt ticket will not affect this situation. Best of luck!
