My husband filed I 130 for me. We were advised by the lawyer to File I 130 and then If it gets approved to file I 485. I am in removal procedure right now and released on bond. We got married before I got in trouble with immigration. Is there a chance that I will get a work permit?
No. A visa petition does not allow for work authorization. Since you are in proceedings, he can file the application for adjustment of status with the court, even if the I-130 is not approved so that he can get you work authorization.
Additionally, you should be asking your questions from your lawyer, not on Avvo.
