Was it before February 1st 2014? Were the injuries to your knee and lower back classified as sprain/strain? If surgery was required it increases the rating of PPD. You need to have a rating for your knee (which is to the leg) and lower back (which is to the body).
If your rating of 30% to the thumb was from an insurance doctor, you really should also be seen by a separate rating doctor who will provide an objective rating based on strength, range of motion, etc.
Having an attorney will almost certainly bring you a more fair settlement. Are you still employed there? Our firm offers FREE initial consultation and on workers compensation cases any fee is modest and contingent on recovery.
You really owe it to yourself and your family to meet with an attorney,
You should call an attorney who practices in the area of workers' compensation. There are many factors that determine the value of a workers' compensation claim including the date of injury, treatment received, weekly rate of compensation, among other things. You have the right to get your own rating which is what a workers' compensation attorney can assist you with. There is no consultation fee in workers' compensation claims.
I recommend hiring an attorney or at least getting a free consultation with one before you do anything else.
