Instead of them getting back to me or fixing the problem, they forward my email to the on-site maintenance guy. He then took my email to another tenant and showed them my email. It has nothing to do with those tenants but now they are all mad at me. Is there some kind of privacy regarding when tenants complain to there management company about another tenant?
If it had nothing to do with the tenants that the maintenance person showed the email, then it really doesn't make sense that they would be mad at you. When you, as a tenant, raise an issue with management about another tenant, that other tenant is going to find out it was you raising the issue. I agree it was fairly stupid of the maintenance person to go share your concerns with other tenants, but I can't see how you have been harmed by this. If I am missing some element of your facts, please advise.
Using Avvo does not form an attorney client relationship.
I agree with Ms.Powell and would add that if were required complex reasoning skills and advanced abstract thought from maintenance workers we could not afford them. You should send the notice in writing , not email.
