Your question makes little sense & lacks critical information: "FNU" is not an immigrant visa category, it means First Name Unknown, and is customarily used where the passport shows only one name. You are posting from Roslyn, NY, so it seems unlikely this involves an interview at a consulate abroad, and you should probably speak to an immigration attorney about what visa status you currently hold, why you don't want a green card, and what may happen to you if you don't show up for a scheduled interview.
This is general information only. It is not intended as a substitute for legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal advice specific to your circumstances, you must consult an attorney in a confidential setting, not in an online forum.
I agree with my colleague: FNU is NOT an immigration category. I suggest that they/you talk to an immigration lawyer .. .many of us use Skype ... thus an international consultation is easily possible.
