Because the title says "And", we both need to be present to remove my name off the title. I've tried numerous times to setup appointments for us both to do this and he keeps avoiding it. He also keeps getting tickets on his vehicle which sometimes suspends my registration. I need to get this taken care of very fast!
You should find your decree of divorce which states to whom the car is supposed to go and file a declaration of non-responsibility and non-ownership with DMV if possible along with a copy of the divorce decree. If not, you need to see a local attorney specializing in DMV matters to find out how this can be done. Good luck.
