I committed 273.5 Misdemeanor 11 years ago after I was sentenced to 2 weeks in a county jail and a year of domestic violence classes or 52 sessions of domestic violence classes. Can I still proceed with my naturalization? I have been a green card holder for the past 5 years or more. My immigration lawyer advised me to ask the assistance of a criminal lawyer to reduce the case into an acceptable case for naturalization
I believe a full review of your background, your immigration file and the law is required to answer your question. I believe your question cannot be answered here.
