I have a handicap parking tag & I do remember hanging it but the officer wasnt able to see it and issued a ticket. on the first hearing I went to piscataway. NJ court and the showed the tag, instead of dismissing the case, judge offered a downgrade but I didnt take it and plead not guilty and requested lawyer consult. Its too expensive to hire a lawyer i found out. What can i do the second time I see the judge? will he keep his last offer or punish me for not taking it. I am really astonished that Piscataway NJ municpal court are not lenient to people who can produce a valid tag. I thought the ticket will be dismissed as I read on internet everywhere, so I was shocked when he gave his judgement & just didnt understand how to proceed. Can I file motion to dismiss successfully with all the paperworks?
The internet is no substitute for a lawyer and you did not hang the tag.

If the hang-tag wasn't visible, you're guilty. Take the plea and pay the reduced cost.
