Never supposed to be out the middle last month and now they said they can't find a place
You will need to bring a landlord tenant action against them to evict them. They are essentially squatters with no rights to stay there. You can be nice and charge them rent if you want, but then they will have a right to stay in accordance with your lease, which should be in writing. Best to see a lawyer about the problem.
