I applied for "I-512L, Authorization for Parole of an Alien Into the United Stated" and got my "permit" but I'm confused a bit.
So I can only stay outside the US 1 day at a time and return? I got this for work.

You can travel abroad for the duration of the advance parole document and you can then be paroled into the U.S. at the port of entry for a period of one day. The advance parole document is not a " permit" . Moreover, you should not be traveling abroad for extended periods of time.
You may be limited to single day trips. In addition, I strongly recommend you consult with an immigration attorney to advise you about your travel.
