the poverty level in 2018 is $12000 plus your wife around $18000 i guess . is there any possibility to have my wife here with me ? or do i need another co signer like my son ? with the income of around $80000.00 for 2018 . i would rather not to use his financial help, thank you
To be issued a family based, immigrant visa, one is required to have an affidavit of support showing income of 125% of the poverty guidelines. If one's income is insufficient, and one does not have savings or assets to compensate, then one would need a joint affidavit of support, or the immigrant visa will not be issued.
