I created a blog before coming to the US under TN visa. I continued to work on it and post articles. The content is valuable and I got a few offers to buy it. Would it be legal for me to sell the blog while on TN? Do I have to be outside the US to do so? In the case of selling, do deposit the funds to my US or my Canadian bank account?
It is legal to sell an asset owned. It is not legal to continue to post upon TN admission if not your TN role.
