I would have a lease to sign, does lawyer assist with process and assure that all is in place?
Do I need assistance in determining structure LLC or S Corp, and applying?
A lawyer can review and go over the lease with you to make sure you understand your legal obligations contained therein and make proposals for potential changes to the lease that would be in your best interest which include the type of entity you should form to be the lessee. In addition, a lawyer should make sure you have done your due diligence in obtaining information about the business with the goal of putting you in the best position to know what you are getting yourself into. You should not have a problem finding one lawyer who can handle each step that should be taken by you prior to entering into a commercial lease.
