I am currently having a claim with an auto mobile insurance for flood damage but now the insurance company underwriter team want to talk to me. should I talk to them or wait till after the claim is settled? Thanks for your advice
Talk-it won't hurt (unless you give a statement, which is damaging to your claim).
And most insurance policies require the insured (you) to cooperate with the insurer (your insurance company).

Since it is a first-party claim (that is, it is your insurer), you have a duty to cooperate. Give the statement. Hire a lawyer (out of your own pocket if you feel uncomfortable doing so) but declining to cooperate can be a basis for denying your claim.
