You can fight. In Pa it could be allowed and therefore maybe OK in NJ. (long hard constitutional fight and expensive) Or it could be proper tint from the factory, also a fight. It is a 0 point low fine ticket. You want to spend the time and money to try to beat it?
Pay the ticket online; save the time and trouble of going there an hanging out in court. As a great man once said: life is too short--and gets shorter every day--until is stops.
I suggest you have the tint checked by a reputable body shop or detailing shop (not some guy working out of his garage) so they can actually check the nature and color of the tint and correct if necessary--you can also get the regulations on PA window tinting at the PA DMV website-and keep them-just in case. You never know when one day you are driving in NJ and you get stopped-and the police find something left behind that belongs to a soon to be ex-friend.
You can fight any ticket but is it worth it for a ticket which is generally just a payable offense and not that expensive
