Hi, we have applied for our son's green card renewal as he has reached 14 years. We had sent the I-90 application along with the banker's cheque but until now we have not received the receipt. It has been almost 16 days since we had sent the application. As we have to apply for renewal within 30 days of our son attaining the 14th birthday we are little concerned about the status of our application ie. whether it has reached or not. Could you advice?
Sometimes it just takes time for USCIS to process and issue the receipt . Keep the record of sending the I-90 application and check. Hopefully you sent it by either certified mail or overnight mail so you could track the application. As long as you can show when you sent in the I-90 application and check, you should be ok.

It could take longer than that. Call the USCIS customer service if you are concerned.
